Methods to be covered include:<\/p>\r\n \r\n\tAs we will be analysing real world data sets using supplied R code, participants are expected to be comfortable in using R to perform basic tasks such as data input\/output, data summaries, loading packages and simple plots.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\tInstuctors:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n \r\n\tJoanne Potts<\/a> (The Analytical Edge Statistical Consulting) is an expert in plant and animal abundance estimation methods and distribution models.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\tDarryl MacKenzie<\/a> (Proteus) has been helping biologists with statistics for over 20 years and is lead author of the book Occupancy estimation and modeling<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\tLocation:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n \r\n\tKeiran McNamara Conservation Science Centre, \r\n\tCost:<\/strong> \r\n\tParticipants must provide their own laptop computer.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<\/div>\n \r\n\t
