Anna Redmond

Anna’s quantitative skills are utilised across a wide range of applications at Proteus to provide actionable insights into ecological patterns and processes, such as species distributions and environmental pressures. Anna’s expertise is in spatial analysis, Bayesian methods and statistical programming. She graduated from the University of Otago with a PhD in Statistics, where her doctoral research focused on analysing patterns in the spatial arrangement of skeletal muscle fibres in mice, with the aim of better understanding age-related changes in muscle composition.

When she’s not Anna-lysing ecological data, Anna spends time playing cornet in a brass band and trumpet in a soul band.
